Keyless entry allows unlocking of your doors and in some cases your trunk or
hatchback. This saves time and as some of us know, saves the paint from all
those key marks around the door locks. There are a couple of options that
can be added to keyless entry to make it more convenient to you.
Features:
Light Flash:
flashes parking lights when the locks are locked or un-locked. This offers a
visual verification as well as a great vehicle locator.
Panic Mode:
this feature can be added to honk the horn, or for added security, a siren, to
notify someone of a threatening situation.
Audio Chirp:
an audible notification of locking or unlocking the vehicle. This can be with the
cars horn or an added siren. Again, this can also help as a car locator.
Trunk Release:
push button access to the trunk without using your key. Great when your
hands are full or in bad weather. This might require some additional
equipment as only some cars are equipped with a motor to open the trunk.
LED indicator:
that small blinking light that lets people know that there is some sort of alarm
installed on the car.
